Veteran’s Services

As an honorably discharged veteran from the United States Military, you may be entitled to various benefits, including:

• An allowance for funeral and burial expenses for the deceased service member.
• An allowance towards the purchase of a burial plot for a Veteran who is not buried in a national cemetery.
• A burial flag, which can be given to the next of kin or friend of the deceased.
• A bronze memorial or headstone.

At the Homewood Cemetery, we work directly with the family and the Veteran’s Administration to facilitate the process of making all of the final arrangements.
